Therefore it is a delivery form for both L-arginine and PCA. Pyroglutamate is found naturally in plants and animals (including the brain). A preliminary study suggests that pyroglutamate supplement may be beneficial to brain function and memory (attributable to PCA not L-Arginine), however more research is needed.
