Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA)

Gamma linolenic acid (GLA) is one of the Omega-6 essential fatty acid (EFA). EFAs are essential to human health but cannot be made in the body. For this reason, they must be obtained from food. GLA is found primarily in plant-based oils and black currant seed and borage oils are particularly rich in GLA.
